This role requires advanced knowledge of billing processes, insurance coordination, and patient relations to ensure a positive and seamless experience for our students.You'll be at the heart of our operations—resolving complex customer concerns, improving processes, and building strong relationships that drive our mission of health and wellness forward.Key Responsibilities

Manage Insurance Processes: Oversee insurance intake, collect and verify insurance information, audit entries for accuracy, and ensure timely processing. Develop workflows, document procedures, and train staff.

Resolve Billing and Insurance Issues: Assist patients with billing inquiries, adjust or remove U-Bill charges, and coordinate with billing vendors to ensure timely and accurate claim processing.

Coordinate with Departments: Act as a liaison between the health center, third-party vendors, SSHIP office, and ITS for billing holds and insurance verification.

Front Desk Support: Cover the billing desk, answer patient questions, process payments, and provide backup for scheduling appointments and patient check-ins.

Ensure Compliance: Follow safety protocols, comply with university policies, complete required training, and report safety hazards.
