Hiring a CNC Machinist Near Westfield, IN$19-25/hr | Westfield, INJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of CNC machining, from interpreting prints and job orders to ordering parts, setting up CNC machines, running the first part, and ensuring quality through first article inspection. You will play a crucial role in machining parts with tight tolerances and managing machine changeovers.Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machines, including mills and lathes.
Machine parts with tight tolerances.
Perform first article inspections using micrometers and calipers.
Manage machine changeovers and tool adjustments.
Program and adjust CNC machines using G-code and M-code.
Essential Skills
Experience with CNC lathe and mill operations.
Proficiency in setting up CNC machines, including 2-4 axis machines.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Experience with first part inspection and quality control.
Familiarity with micrometers, calipers, and other measurement tools.
1-5 years of CNC machining experience.

Shift 3 runs from Sunday evening to Friday morning, 8 PM - 6:30 AM, with a $1.25 shift differential for night shifts.
