Interns will work on projects that improve your leadership and professional skills while learning the orthopaedics business.

Responsibilities
Work with R&D Engineers to setup design of experiments and testing environments
Work with R&D Engineers to create and populate databases of critical R&D data
Attend engineering and cross-functional team meetings (in-person and online)
Create summary reports using good documentation practices
Create design control documents
Support and test mechanical, electrical and/or software designs
Become familiar with medical terminology, procedures, and instrumentation
Promote teamwork during internal and external interactions Present final project(s) to other engineers and leaders within department
Required Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
Minimum of undergraduate sophomore year complete prior to internship start date.
Minimum GPA of 3.0 is required
Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
Ability to balance multiple projects while delivering results
Self-starter who can work independently and contribute to team goals
Leadership/participation with campus programs and/or service programs is desired.
Additional Information
A typical internship is from May/June through mid-August, with opportunity based on business needs and performance for a subsequent 2025 internship.
Will be located at a DePuy Synthes office in Warsaw, Indiana.
Anticipated hourly pay is between $21.00 and $32.00, but will be based on candidate’s program year, field, degree and/or experience.
