You will do this by working with our clients to understand their business needs and working with our technical teams to understand the current systems and how those business requirements can be implemented in the most efficient and effective way.What you will do:You will work to understand the overall business need, create a business case, and then define the system requirements. You will work with the technology partners to translate those requirements into a business design.
Collaborate with developers and architects to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability, performance needs, and other non-functional requirements.
Serve as the conduit between the client business units and the technology teams to translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements.
Clarify requirements, critically evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
You will need to be able to adapt to a fast paced continually challenging business and work environment while managing multiple priorities.
Create and maintain user documentation according to standard templates, using natural language.
What you will need to have:
US citizenship capable of obtaining security clearance with the Federal Government.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Science, Business, or a related field.
Four years of progressively responsible business design experience.
Experience documenting business requirements and leading sessions with all types of audiences across an organization, business and technical.
What would be great to have:
Proficiency in Microsoft Visio and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
Experience with gathering business requirements surrounding loan servicing systems; specifically, student education loan servicing.
