Saab in West Lafayette, IN, is actively recruiting Manufacturing/ Production team members to help produce the aft section of the T-7A Red Hawk advanced trainer jet, the all-new pilot training system designed for the U.S. Air Force that will train the next generation of fighter pilots for decades to come.
Current openings for: Structural and Installation Assemblers
Starting pay rate is up to $23/hour, depending on experience.
3rd shift premium: $2.00 per hour.
Schedule: 1st and 3rd shift operations.

Skills and Experience
Must be a U.S. citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder), or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
2+ years of qualified aeronautics or mechanical assembly manufacturing experience.
Proficiency interpreting engineering drawings and specifications in written and digital format required.
Must have a HS degree or equivalent
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as sitting, bending, stooping, walking, climbing, reaching throughout a normal workday.
Stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to work extended hours when required.
