Our client, a leading company in the customer service industry, is seeking a General Office Clerk to join their team. As a General Office Clerk, you will be part of the administrative department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: General Office ClerkLocation: Seelyville, INPay Range: $17-$20 based on experienceWhat's the Job?
Customer Service: Greet and assist clients and visitors both in person and via phone. Address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Phone Management: Answer incoming calls, direct them to appropriate personnel, and take accurate messages when necessary.
Data Entry: Input and update data into company systems with accuracy and efficiency. Maintain and manage databases, ensuring data integrity.
Payment Processing: Handle and process payments, including cash, checks, and credit card transactions. Maintain records of all transactions and manage receipts.
Document Preparation: Create, edit, and format documents using Microsoft Word and Excel. Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and other necessary documentation as required.
What's Needed?
Experience: Previous experience in an office clerk role or similar position is preferred.
Customer Service Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding service.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with data entry and office equipment (e.g., printers, fax machines) is required.
Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail. Ability to handle multiple tasks accurately and efficiently.
Payment Handling: Experience with processing payments and managing financial transactions is a plus.
