This position is responsible for ensuring the property, grounds, and units are safe, orderly, and visually appealing. The right person will be self-motivated, provide outstanding customer service, and will take immense pride in their work. The Maintenance Technician must work well on a team and wish to learn new skills.
What you will do:
Complete preventative, predictive, and reactive residential maintenance throughout the complex including apartment turns.
Diagnose problems and repairs in the areas of, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structural, and appliances.
Confirm that work order requests are responded to promptly and professionally.
Ensure residential units have been turned for a new resident in a timely and efficient manner, as well as determining if work has been completed properly.
Provide excellent customer service to prospective and current residents and promote quality living experience.
Provide on-call service when scheduled and perform emergency maintenance work when required.
Inspect buildings and grounds to ensure safety and cleanliness, and addresses items that need to be repaired.
Communicate with supervisor regarding the overall maintenance function of the property.
Comply with all Company National Standards, applicable health and safety rules and regulations, as well as applicable local, state, and federal laws.
Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Other duties as assigned.
