About Us
Founded in 1991 by Mark Tarner, South Bend Chocolate Company started as a small venture and has grown into a beloved brand with 11 company-owned stores and 4 franchise locations across Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio. Our 60,000-square-foot factory in South Bend, Indiana, is where the magic happens, producing over 500 different chocolates and sweets enjoyed nationwide. From our humble beginnings making chocolates under a license from the University of Notre Dame to becoming a household name, we’re proud of our history and excited about our future.
What You’ll Do
As a Cook at South Bend Chocolate Company, you’ll be an integral part of our team, ensuring our food offerings are as delightful as our chocolates. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes with precision and care.
- Following recipes and maintaining consistency in flavor and presentation.
- Ensuring all food safety and sanitation standards are met.
- Collaborating with team members to create a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who brings both skill and passion to the kitchen. To thrive in this role, you should have:
- At least 1 year of experience working as a cook or in a similar role.
- A strong understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- The ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
