Description You will use your knowledge and skills to prepare and consolidate financial statements, analyze and reconcile accounts, analyze cash flow, build budgets and forecasts, prepare audits, and manage internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Successfully collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, controls and provide support on special requests when necessary
Complete monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables that includes journal entries, reconciliations, and reports in the compensation area in compliance with GAAP
Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Review financial information such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. and present analysis in a clear manner
Commitment to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Offer involvement in various department-wide initiatives Requirements
5+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued
Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines
Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
Exceptional time management skills preferred
Corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems experience a plus
Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
Proficient in ERP systems, SAP desired
Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Strong analytical capabilities and discernment
Deep understanding of month end closings
Comprehensive knowledge of fixed assets
Accruals experience required
SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience
