Project Scope:

Our client has an immediate need for a Security Solutions Architect with the following skills and experience:

Responsibilities:

  • This is a Leadership role
  • Utilize strong interpersonal, business and technology skills to engage at all levels of an organization from help desk to the CIO.
  • Act as a business consultant with a holistic understanding of IT operations within a business organization.

Requirements:

  • Thorough and deep understanding of Security/Risk/Privacy standards, frameworks, and architectures and their application into diverse customer environments and business operations, inclusive of EU and US Privacy and Breach Laws, ISO, NIST, CIS, HIPAA, PCI, SOX and SOC requirements.
  • Must be able to assess and articulate customer needs and tailor customized solutions, moderate to complex in nature to strategically fit and align with technical and business needs. Must be well versed in all market offerings in the identified areas of expertise in order to fully meet customer expectations.
  • Must be able to articulate the proposed design, implementation and support in a Statement of Work and justify the costs related to their design, implementation and support.
  • In-depth understanding of how security requirements, architectures and configurations are applied to LAN/WAN, Cloud, Endpoint, Virtualization and Directory Services and the integrations of all these devices and services.
  • Demonstrated experience in the value proposition and deployment of Network architecture and implementation of ZTNA, Perimeter and Data Center firewalls, DDoS protection, IDS/IPS, NAC, Identity Based Solutions, RADIUS, WAF, Network AV, Anti-Malware, Email (Anti-SPAM/Anti-Phishing), EDR/XDR integrated protection, patch management and DNS/URL filtering solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in the value proposition and deployment of Endpoint protection to include on premise, MDM, UBEA, remote and cloud-based deployments and solutions. Solutions inclusive of all ransomware detection, protection and recovery solutions.
  • Thorough knowledge, understanding and experience deploying, managing and securing multiple Cloud, OS and Directory Service environments including AWS, Azure, Google, Linux and Microsoft.
  • Ability to perform web and mobile application security and testing.
  • Demonstrated experience desired in Security Operations covering Security Monitoring, Threat Monitoring and Intelligence, Incident Response, BC/DR and Forensics.
  • Hands-on experience leading and performing comprehensive security assessments under the guide of NIST, CIS, HIPAA and PCI.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Cryptography and its multiple applications within a business's technical and operational framework and requirements.
  • Demonstrated, hands-on experience performing Network and Web Application penetration testing.
  • Demonstrated, hands-on experience deploying and troubleshooting current simple to complex firewall solutions, particularly from Cisco and Palo Alto

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the majority of the following technologies:

  • SSL Decryption using A10 Networks, Cisco and Palo Alto
  • NAC using Aruba ClearPass and Cisco ISE
  • Endpoint protection using Cisco AMP, Palo Alto TRAPS/CORTEX XDR, Sophos, Trend Micro and McAfee
  • Firewall and UTM solutions using Cisco ASA/FirePower/Secure-X, Palo Alto, Fortinet, SonicWall, Sophos Solutions
  • Web Security using Cisco WSA/Secure-X/Umbella, ForcePoint Web Security
  • Email Security using Cisco ESA/Secure-X, ProofPoint, Mimecast, Barracuda
  • Multi-Factor Authentication using Cisco DUO, OKTA, and RSA 2-Factor Authentication
