What You Get To Do:The State Director is responsible for the overall administration and growth of services in Indiana. Dungarvin Indiana has approximately 500 employees who provide services to 250 persons with IDD in residential programs.In this role, the State Director is responsible for:Setting strategic operations and long-term goals for Dungarvin Indiana, aligning with the organization's mission and visionOverseeing fiscal direction, including budget planning, financial forecasting, and resource allocationDriving the expansion of existing services and spearheading the development of new lines of business to meet evolving community needsConducting regular evaluations of programs and services to ensure the highest quality of care for individuals with IDDServing as an innovative leader of the operational team in Indiana, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvementAssuring compliance with all applicable rules, standards, and laws, including state and federal regulations governing IDD servicesServing as the primary representative of Dungarvin and a liaison between senior administrative staff and funding and oversight authoritiesNurturing and developing relationships with potential and existing business partners, including local, state, and Federal legislative and department representativesEngaging with advocacy groups, trade associations, and other stakeholders to promote the interests of individuals with IDDImplementing and overseeing staff development programs to ensure a highly skilled and motivated workforceManaging risk and crisis situations and developing contingency plansStaying informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in IDD services to maintain a competitive edgeCollaborating with other stakeholders within the Dungarvin network to share knowledge, resources, and best practicesPreparing and presenting regular reports to senior management on the state's performance, challenges, and opportunities for growthAdditionally, the State Director is responsible for fostering a positive organizational culture that promotes inclusivity, person-centered care, and professional growth for all employees.
