Vaco Technology is currently looking for a

System Engineer I for a direct-hire opportunity located near Brownsburg, IN and is 100% onsite.

The company cannot sponsor or transfer sponsorship and is unable to work C2C at this time.

This position will be best suited to someone who is looking to advance their knowledge of technology systems and support. This position will be responsible for maintenance and support of the business and production systems, including desktop and server support and maintenance.

Essential Position Duties: Provide support for desktop hardware and office/productivity software, including but not limited to installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and training. Perform administration tasks on a group of servers, primarily Windows-based and primarily virtual Troubleshoot and maintain networking components Coordinate with contractors to support more specialized applications and hardware

Education & Experience: AS in Computer Science or related field Experience providing support for PCs and networking hardware Experience with Windows Server administration Ability to analyze complex problems and communicate with all levels of users Willing to work in a production environment Willing to assume on-call responsibilities Experience with virtual server infrastructures preferred Experience with network design, troubleshooting preferred Experience with cybersecurity tool implementation and monitoring preferred
