Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Patient Access Specialist in North Vernon, Indiana. This role is pivotal in the healthcare industry where you'll be handling a variety of tasks related to patient services. Responsibilities include: Managing patient registration and data entry into systems such as Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, EHR SYSTEM, Epic Software, and Kronos Timekeeping System. Ensuring accurate and timely information about Time and Billing Functions. Assisting in Clinical Trial Operations and handling related documentation. Delivering exceptional Customer Service, addressing patient inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Carrying out Benefit Functions, providing patients with accurate information about their benefits. Adhering to the working hours, with the flexibility to work during weekends if required. Requirements Proficient in Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, EHR SYSTEM, Epic Software, Kronos Timekeeping System, and About Time software. Expertise in Benefit Functions and Billing Functions. Experience in Clinical Trial Operations. Exceptional customer service skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem-solving capabilities. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment. Knowledge of healthcare industry standards and practices. Excellent attention to detail. Strong organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. High level of empathy and understanding towards patients' needs.
