Honeywell Thermal Solutions has taken on the challenge of transitioning heat generation into the next industrial age, Industry 4.0. Participate in this modernization process as an Advanced R&D Engineer/Scientist.You will work on our flame monitoring solutions. Starting with the requirements analysis, you will work with product management experts and sales representatives to develop the characteristics of new products. You contribute to the concept and architecture and optimize manufacturability in collaboration with our production team. Key Responsibilities
Development of sensors for flame monitoring and analysis in combustion processes
Requirements analysis and specification with customers, product management and sales
Design Custom test processes, equipment, and setups
Execute test plans
Product Verification and Validation
Product Troubleshooting and Customer Support
Documentation
YOU MUST HAVE
Master's degree in physics, electrical engineering or comparable
Two plus years of Product Troubleshooting, including debugging circuit boards.
Two plus years setting up test equipment and running product verification tests.
Due to US export control laws, must be a US citizen, permanent resident or have a protected status.

Experience in the development of products for safety applications
Experience with industrial furnaces and burners
Experience with general purpose test equipment and thermal chambers
