Report directly to the Director of Sales – nVent EFS Asia

Lead, manage and develop a team of dedicated and professional salespeople while owning direct responsibility and management of specific accounts or growth Vertical or region as assigned

Lead and execute key strategic commercial sales growth projects and initiatives working with Sales Director, Vertical Leaders and Sales team members.

Drive sales growth and expansion for India EFS market leading a team of technical sales professional utilizing technical value sales approach with end-users, design institutes/consulting companies and other specifying engineers.

YOU HAVE:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and or applicable experience in technical sales (engineering or technical discipline preferred)

Previous experience in or with:

10 or more years of selling experience in technical environment

Preferably 5 years’ experience in Sales Management

Experience in hunting new business opportunities, tracking engineering project’s independently.

Experience working with end user customers and distribution on projects

Experience working with a CRM, preferably Salesforce and other BI tools such as Aquarius Cognos.

Experience with electrical, mechanical, HVAC, data & telcom, fire protection, or seismic bracing products.

Ability to adapt to evolving business circumstances

Strong interpersonal skills and team building with all levels within an organization

Skill to create and implement sales plans aligned with the SBU’s strategic vision.

Skills must include good interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills, and ability to understand information and ideas as presented.

Skill in developing and delivering effective convincing formal presentations at all levels to individuals and groups

Ability to build and maintain effective work relationships, both internal and external, and establish credibility with business partners.

Familiarity with regional codes and standards (International building codes, as well as an understanding of the regional market)

Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize time/workload in order to accomplish tasks and meet deadlines.

Ability to travel within the region 60% of the time on average.
