Our client, a logistics and warehousing company, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the Light Industrial Machine Operator department supporting various warehouse functions. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Forklift Operator (Stand-Up)Location: Mount Vernon, IndianaPay Range: $20 per hourWhat’s the Job?

Operate powered equipment for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting products (80% of the shift).

Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using a stand-up forklift or other power equipment.

Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded.

Maintain accurate records and reports for inventory accuracy.

Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards.

Work the 2 PM to 10 PM shift.

What’s Needed?

High school diploma or equivalent

Forklift operator certificate or completion of a forklift training program within the first 30 days of employment.

Six months of warehouse experience and six months of forklift operation experience

Ability to spend 80% of time operating powered material handling equipment.

Basic familiarity with warehousing and good written and verbal communication skills.
