Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Inventory Clerk in MOORESVILLE, Indiana. This role primarily involves managing various aspects of our inventory system, from creating purchase orders to conducting inventory cycle counts. As part of our team, you will be integral in maintaining an organized and efficient inventory system, which is crucial to our operations in the industry.Responsibilities: Efficiently generate purchase orders for both direct and indirect materials within the PLEX system, based on requests from various departments across the plant. Ensure accuracy by verifying the quantity of received items against the packing slip and the corresponding PLEX purchase order. Timely delivery of received indirect materials to the relevant departments. Manage and maintain the PLEX system's inventory for Tool Crib Direct/Indirect materials, including reordering general inventory items as needed. Regularly conduct inventory cycle counts for Direct/Indirect materials and make necessary adjustments in the PLEX system. Operate scanning equipment as part of the inventory management process. Assist in fostering and strengthening relationships with suppliers. Help track purchasing related schedules, including supplier development, supplier change, among others. Support purchasing activities with suppliers. Handle lifting tasks involving weights up to 50 pounds as part of daily duties. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required Experience with Epicor is a must Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential Expertise in ERP Solutions is mandatory Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC) is necessary Experience with About Time is required Ability to perform Accounting Functions is essential Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is required Understanding of Budget Processes is necessary Familiarity with Buying Processes is a must Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
