Description:Daman Products in Mishawaka, IN is searching for 5 skilled Mill Machinists to continue their growth and expansion initiatives for 2024.There are 5 different CNC Machine cells (A-D) in the shop totaling around 20 CNC's total. Most are Tsugami and Mazak horizontal machining centers (5-axis mills), but they also have turning centers (lathes) and CNC deburring machines.These positions in particular are Horizontal Mills (4- or 5-axis Mills). Cell A, B, and C have more complex requirements respectively. Pay rates are also increased respectively due to the level of complexity increasing per machine cell. Below is a breakdown of needs per machine cell:(2 openings) Cell A - 2nd shift
Need to have CNC Mill experience, but less skilled area with high-volume runs
(2 openings) Cell B - 2nd shift
A custom cell with higher skill level needed. This candidate needs to have experience with 4- or 5-axis mill machinery.
(2 Openings) Cell C - 2nd shift
Extremely custom cell. Will need to have expert-level set up experience with Horizontal Mills.
Shift Hours:
1st shift: 7:00am to 3:00pm
2nd shift: 3:00pm to 11:00pm
3rd shift: 11:00pm to 7:00am
Expect to be working 50 hours per week and on Saturday. Once fully staffed, they will be able to eliminate mandatory Saturday's. Job Duties:
Setting Up and Operating CNC Horizontal Mills (4- and 5-axis)
Type: Tsugami, Mazak
Reading basic blueprints (for more complex positions, the candidate will be given a print and have to set up tooling, jaws, etc.)
Making adjustments to CNC machinery and touch off tooling
Using quality instruments to ensure parts meet client specifications
