IMMEDIATE OPENINGS FOR WELDERS IN LAPORTEDescription:
This role is a MIG welding role. This company manufactures big drills for the construction industry. This person is going to be responsible for setting up all their material for the weld, following a blueprint or work instructions in order to complete the weld, and weld everything together. They will be welding on material up to 1/2 inch thick. They will be welding flat, vertical and horizontally. This person will be responsible for doing multi-pass welds (up to 3 times). Almost all of the material that they will be welding on is steel. They can also expect to do a lot of tack welds.
They will start out doing tac welding until they are fully trained in all their processes. As they show more skill they will be able to do more of the complex welds.

Shift and Hours:
5am - 1:30pm
Pay:
$18-$22/hr
Pay rate based on previous experience, skill, and interview
Skills:
3 years MIG welding
Ability to read blueprints/weld symbols
Experience welding on steel
Previous fabrication expereince
Experience with brake press
