Description:This is going to be a maintenance role on in the production area. What a candidate can anticipate doing on any given day is fixing any and all issues that come up with the machines that 80% of the time are caused due to operator error. This could be as simple as knife is off and needs adjusted or as complex as tearing the entire machine a part. A typical day will have them fixing photo-eyes, sensors, gears, motor boxes, vfd's, servo drives, and pumps. All parts of there machines are controlled by HMI touch screens which are controlled by Allen Bradley PLC's.They will spend about 50% of their time doing mechanical repairs and 50% of their time doing electrical repairs. Some other tasks that they could have to do is TIG/MIG weld on stainless and do some custom fabrication work.While at work, the beginning and end of their work week will be spent back in the kitchen area (Sunday night and Friday night) where they are starting/stopping the production areas and this is when a lot of the issues occur. If they work Saturday's it is for PMs.They are in the process of getting new automated equipment (packaging equipment, shrink wrapping machines, etc).
