Warehouse SupervisorLocation : JEFFERSONVILLE, IN, United StatesJob Family : Manufacturing and ProductionJob Type : RegularPosted : Jul 17, 2024Job ID : 50651Back to Search ResultsJob DescriptionApply Now >Save JobJob SavedPosition Summary:Advocate and support the Corporate Win Strategy by supervising the receipt, storing, and delivery of materials, finished goods, level-loads,equipment and supplies to meet internal and external customer needs.Scope/ Supervision and Interaction:X Has Direct Reports Does Not Have Direct ReportsSupervisory responsibility includes, but is not limited to training and developing subordinates, delegating work assignments, writing andconducting performance appraisals, coaching and counseling employees and administering disciplinary procedures up to and including WrittenWarnings.Essential Functions:Directs and controls the warehousing of raw materials and/or finished goods in a single facility.-Selects and negotiates contracts for public and cold storage warehouses.-Provides functional direction, procedures and policies to all factory warehouse operations and monitors their performances and compliance.Qualifications:-Bachelor’s Degree in business or and three years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must havedemonstrated problem-solving, time management and leadership abilities. Proficient computer skills.-Must have the ability to effectively work with people in a team environment and at various levels of the organization. Must possess strongverbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Will interact with employees at all levels of the organization, customers and outsidecontacts.-While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to hear and speak. The employee must regularly stand, walk, sitand use hands to grasp and handle. Specific vision requirements include close vision and ability to focus.-This position may be exposed to moving equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. This position mayrequire occasional travel and alternating of work hours.-Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly desirable-Must be eligible to live and work in the US, Visa sponsorship is not available.-Relocation benefits are not being provided.Additional Comments:The essential functions have been provided as example of the type of work performed by employees assigned to this job classification.
