Job Title: Pharmacy TechnicianJob DescriptionAs a Pharmacy Technician, you will primarily be responsible for filling prescription vials with pills and capsules, and occasionally with liquids. You will use a computer to read prescription requirements, scan vials and labels, replenish automated fill machines with drugs, and process shipping orders. This role does not involve any phone calls or phone-related issues.Responsibilities
Fill prescription vials with pills, capsules, and occasionally liquids.
Use a computer to read and interpret prescription requirements.
Scan vials and labels to ensure accuracy.
Replenish automated fill machines with necessary drugs.
Process shipping orders efficiently.
Meet line quotas, with quicker lines processing 365 vials per hour and others processing 100-150 per hour.
Work Environment
You will work in a highly automated, non-customer facing facility with a fast-paced automated fill pharmacy environment.
The facility is climate-controlled, and you can enjoy a casual dress code and listen to headphones during your shift.
Two shifts are available: 1st Shift (Monday 9:00am-7:30pm, Tuesday - Friday 10am-7:30pm, Saturday 11:00am-8:30pm) with a pay rate of $18.95/hour
2nd Shift (Monday 1pm-11:30pm, Tuesday - Friday 2pm-11pm, Saturday 11am-8:30pm) with a pay rate of $19.70/hour.
Each week you work a Saturday, you will have a rotating weekday off. Mondays are the busiest days, usually requiring a 10.5-hour shift, while other days are about 8.5 hours with a 30-minute lunch break.
The role offers two 15-minute paid breaks, and overtime is rarely denied if desired. Upon permanent hire, benefits include 40 hours of emergency PTO (flex), 88 hours of scheduled and approved PTO, and 5 floating holidays.
