Requirement details: Client is looking for a highly skilled, experienced Java developer to join our expanding product development team in healthcare domain. In this role, you will help develop and design technology solutions that are scalable, relevant, and critical to our company’s success. You will focus on Java/J2EE development throughout all phases of the development lifecycle and must have a solid skill set, a desire to continue to grow as a developer, and a team-player mentality. Java Developer Duties and Responsibilities • Participate in the design and implementation of essential applications• Demonstrate expertise and add valuable input throughout the development lifecycle• Help design and implement scalable, lasting technology solutions• Review current systems, suggesting updates as needed• Gather requirements from internal and external stakeholders• Test and debug new applications and updates• Resolve reported issues and reply to queries in a timely manner• Develop and utilize technical change documentation• Strive to deploy all products and updates on time• Help improve code quality by implementing recommended best practices• Remain up to date on all current best practices, trends, and industry developments• Maintain a high standard of work quality and encourage others to do the same• Identify potential challenges and bottlenecks to address them proactively• Mentor and lead junior associates / team members Java Developer Requirements and Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required; master’s degree is a plus• Java certification preferred• 5-6 years’ experience in IT field working in Java stack, preferably in a corporate setting• Solid Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java and J2EE technologies• Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.• Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management, Caching etc)• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA, JPA2, Hibernate)• Experience in the Spring and Sprint Boot Framework• Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, GWT, Spring MVC)• Significant experience working with SQL and HTML• Experience with test-driven development• Familiarity with JIRA is a plus• Experience with database usage and management• Experience with scheduling frameworks like Quartz is a plus• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior developers is a plus• Experience working directly with clients
