We are seeking experienced Cabinet Makers to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role for someone passionate about woodworking and producing premium cabinetry. You will work in our workshop fabricating, assembling, and finishing cabinets to exact specifications.
We are also seeking skilled Millwork Finishers to prepare, stain, seal, and topcoat custom wood products to exacting standards. This role requires the ability to mix custom stain and finish formulas, apply finishes consistently, and produce high-quality results on a variety of wood species and veneer types.
Responsibilities:
Cabinet Makers: Build custom cabinets, casework, and millwork components from shop drawings.
Operate woodworking machinery, power tools, and hand tools safely and accurately.
Cut, shape, and assemble wood and wood substitutes.
Install hardware, hinges, drawer slides, and specialty fittings.
Sand, prepare, and finish products as required.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all company quality standards and timelines.
Finishers: Prepare wood surfaces for finishing by sanding, filling, and cleaning.
Mix, match, and blend stains, sealers, and topcoats to specified color formulas and sheen levels.
Apply finishes by spray, brush, or wipe methods according to product and job requirements.
Inspect finished work for color consistency, quality, and proper coverage.
Maintain clean, safe, and organized finishing area, including proper storage and labeling of finishing materials.
Follow all safety guidelines, including use of PPE and proper handling of flammable or hazardous substances.
Communicate effectively with production and project managers regarding schedules and finish specifications.
Perform touch-ups and repairs as needed.
Requirements:
Professional cabinet making or millwork experience preferred.
Experience in wood finishing, preferably in millwork, cabinetry.
Experience working with high-end architectural millwork and veneer layups.
Knowledge of conversion varnishes, catalyzed finishes, and specialized finishing systems.
Demonstrated ability to mix and match custom stain and finish formulas accurately.
Proficient in using spray equipment and hand-finishing techniques.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing top-quality results.
Ability to read and understand work orders, finish schedules, and color samples.
Familiarity with proper ventilation, material handling, and disposal practices.
