We are looking for a dependable Lead Carpenter and helper.
WE ONLY WORK ON ARE COMPANY OWNED PROPERTY'S.
We are a local, south side Greenwood company that owns and maintains Industrial, commercial and residential properties. We are currently a small team of 3 and need to expand.
On the Industrial and Commercial property’s we do most Tennent requested changes, updates and improvements.
On the residential property’s we do everything. From a total gut and rebuild the interiors to Kitchens, Bathrooms, Decks, Form Patio's for concrete, Flooring tile/wood, Doors/windows, garage doors, Painting Interior/exterior, Trim work, Drywall, Plumbing/electrical, Siding. We have even installed are own Wrought Iron we made/welded up in the shop.
We work 40 hours a week, no weekends unless a very rare emergency. We have no problem being flexible on your work hours and time off when needed or you just want it. We work inside when it is cold. We do sub out some things like large roofing, HVAC.
Pay is every Friday. We can take taxes out of your check, or not. We can do cash with 1099 or no 1099 and cash pay. It is up to you!
The ideal lead Carpenter will have the ability to do a lot of the above listed skills as part of their skill set. In addition you will need to lay out work for the days ahead and confirm the material and supplies you requested are there on sight. You will need to direct and keep your helpers productive. You will confirm the proper installation of the occasional sub-contractors work.
The laborer we need will, at a minimum need to be proficient at reading a tape measure, cutting lumber, and basic painting skills, or any of the other above listed skills of the lead.
