Job Title: W2 Sales Representative

Job Overview:

Pono Security is seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving business growth by selling our security services and products to a wide range of clients.

This is a remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from home while benefiting from a generous commission structure with the potential to earn up to $150,000 per year.

This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a performance-driven environment, enjoy the freedom of remote work, and have a proven track record in sales. You will have access to our sales tools and support while maintaining the autonomy to manage your pipeline and schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development: Identify and prospect new clients through a variety of methods, including cold calling, networking, and utilizing online platforms such as LinkedIn.

Relationship Building: Develop and nurture strong relationships with potential clients, ensuring they understand the value of Pono Security’s offerings.

Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain an organized and efficient sales pipeline within Salesforce CRM, keeping track of leads and following up consistently to close deals.

Client Presentations: Present Pono Security’s services to potential clients in a clear and persuasive manner, addressing their needs/painpoints and demonstrating how our solutions can protect their assets.

Commission-Driven Sales: Meet and exceed monthly sales targets, maximizing your earning potential through a highly attractive commission program.

Qualifications:

Sales Experience: Proven track record in sales or business development, preferably in a commission-based role.

Entrepreneurial Mindset: Ability to think creatively, find leads, and work autonomously. A self-starter with a strong desire to succeed.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will be required to build relationships with clients and close deals through clear and effective communication.

Tech-Savvy: Must have your own computer with internet access, and a smartphone. Experience with Salesforce and prospecting tools like Zoom Info and Sales Engagement.

Independence & Autonomy: Must be able to work independently and manage your time effectively, driving your own success with minimal supervision.

Motivation & Resilience: Strong self-motivation, discipline, and resilience. Comfortable handling rejection and capable of moving forward with optimism and perseverance.

Pipeline Management: Experience in managing a sales pipeline from prospecting to closing is essential within a CRM (Outreach/Salesforce).

Industry Experience: (Nice to Have) - Experience in military, armed forces, security, or similar industry. Or familiarity with banks, retail, healthcare facilities, construction sites, sports arenas, or schools.

To Be Successful:

Tech-Savvy: Must have your own computer with internet access, and a smartphone. Experience with CRM and prospecting tools like Outreach.io and LinkedIn.

Sales Activity: We recommend 30-50 phone calls a day, Consistent Email Follow-Up, and accurate forecasting. This will lead to a healthy pipeline of opportunities.

Time Commitment: Expected to work 30-40 hours a week, with at least 4 hours during standard work hours in your time zone.

Hunter Mentality: Need to be eager to go after new business, be persistent in follow up, and have the ability to build out a pipeline of business.

Customer Service: Upon closing business, you will be responsible for managing that account, and strong customer service leads to renewals and upselling.

Compensation & Benefits:

Base Salary: Will be minimum wage based on your state of occupancy. In addition, there is a strong commission structure that allows top performers to earn up to $150,000 annually.
