Assisting me flip rugs while I sell to customers. Writing rug sales up on invoices. Rolling rugs and carrying them to customers cars.
Job can be physically demanding when the store is busy. Friday, Saturday and Sunday are usually the busiest days and are required. Store is open 10am-8pm Friday and Saturday. Sunday is 11am-7pm. You will be able to leave early before the store closes if business is slower and you would like to leave.
You will work one day (Wednesday) by yourself 10am - 8pm. I will train you. Job will only last 3-6 months.
I can give you 32-40 hours a week but I can't give you over 40 hours - So no overtime.
During the week, the store is slow so you could bring a laptop, phone, etc to stay occupied.
Rugs I sell can range from $500 - $25k+. Therefore I ask you to dress presentable for customers. T shirt (nothing profane or political please) or collared t shirt and jeans are fine. No facial piercings can be worn while working.
Laid back environment in a large furniture store. You will not be selling rugs except for the one Wednesday a week I'm not there. I'm not expecting you to be a salesman, so no pressure. Just basically babysitting the store on that Wednesday and flipping rugs if customers come in.
