One full time and one part time position are available immediately. Part time can be flexible times and days. Full time is M-F with flex hours too. We are CLOSED on weekends and major holidays. (some minor too)
We are a 25 year old internet based auction company specializing in stamps, postcards, coins, and postal history. Knowledge of our industry is not expected or needed. It's not something you probably have done before. We have a small office with only 1-3 in at one time.
Help is needed in pulling and verifying daily orders, shipping, describing, inventory management, operating scanners, cameras, and image processing. This is easy to teach to someone who is eager to learn.
A degree or formal training is not necessary. Training is provided. We pay by merit. Employees earn raises sometimes multiple times a year depending on work performed. We offer a competitive starting wage. Pay increases start as soon as 30 days. Most of our current staff has been with us for over 5 years.
We offer a quiet, drama free workplace. Our employees have no phones to answer, no crazy customers to interact with. Two other perks are a relaxed dress code and work flexible hours.
We have never had a layoff. Work is always steady.
Typing speed is a plus. Good organization skills, attention to detail, ability to perform repetitive tasks, ability to work unsupervised, have legible handwriting, and the ability to work with others is a must. Experience with scanners, Excel, image processing, and general Windows knowledge is also preferred but not necessary. Knowledge of US history, geography, and good spelling is also a plus. Current employees came from retail management, telephone operator, bank teller, restaurant servers as examples.
