McNamara Florist is looking to fill floral design positions. Candidates can submit resumes online or apply in person at any location.
McNamara Florist is the largest retail florist in Indiana and is in the top 25 floral companies in the country. We have eight retail locations in Central Indiana with over a hundred employees! We expanding our team and looking for self-driven and organized candidates seeking to work for a fast-paced and growing company. We are looking for someone who is hard-working, an effective communicator, a creative thinker, and a problem solver.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE preferred:
- Must have 3-5 years of commercial design experience
- Floral designers must be artistic. Use your sense of style to develop aesthetically pleasing designs.
- Must meet McNamara's expectation of well-designed arrangements with sophisticated blending color harmonies.
- Experienced and well-versed in all areas of floral design.
DUTIES
- Arrange both real and silk flowers for display on occasions or in the home or office.
- Fill special orders for holidays or other occasions.
- Make traditional corsages, bouquets, wreaths, wedding decorations, and other kinds of original designs.
- Work with clients to fulfill their vision for occasions such as weddings, funerals, or celebrations and events.
- Work with a wide range of foliage and flowers.

- Fast-paced working environment
- Lift moderately heavy loads up to 25 lbs
- Ability to bend, reach, kneel, squat
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to push/pull heavy loads
