The Mitigation Technician is responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of radon mitigation systems and crawlspace encapsulations. The Technician demonstrates to customers how to use their equipment and troubleshoot potential equipment issues. This should be done while building strong relationships with customers and always following company procedures.
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
1] Help repair and install radon mitigation systems and crawlspace vapor barriers
2] Conduct diagnostic air flow pressure tests which may require drilling into concrete/slab foundations.
3] Install mitigation materials; run PVC pipes for ventilation and install electrical fans and switches.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
1] Prefer one year construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC experience, or building maintenance. 3] Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving history
4] Clean credit and background checks
5] Problem solving skills and able to follow instructions to completion
6] Extensive use of power and hand tools
7] Ability to grow and develop through on the job training and supervision
QUALIFICATIONS
1] Experience in the construction trades, environmental or Radon mitigation industry preferred
2] Good verbal and written communication skills
3] Ability to work effectively with or without supervision with attention to detail
4] Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

COMPENSATION $20.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on work experience
