Dining Services employs close to 100 employees on campus serving over 400 seniors in Independent Living, Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing. We are currently recruiting for a Full Time AM Server position. The position is:
AM Server (Skilled Nursing)
Every other weekend off
6:00am - 2:30pm
Pay starts at $16/hr plus up to $1.50/hr additional based on experience, and a $1/hr shift differential on the weekends. We offer full benefits including what will most likely be the most generous PTO you've gotten in the food industry. The kitchen you'll be working in is our skilled nursing kitchen, but we do more scratch cooking than our competitors as well. We have a lot of fun and have employees who have been with us for 30+ years.
Our ideal candidate has previous healthcare serving experience, but previous serving experience outside of healthcare is great as well! We want someone reliable with transportation and a great alarm clock that gets them up in time to make it in by 6:00am. It sucks coming in that early, but it sure is great heading home at 2:30pm!
Our dining services program is run by individuals with culinary and pastry degrees, a closet full of culinary awards, and decades of experience in the industry. We love to innovate and try new things, but we understand our population and try to cater to their needs and tastes. Our servers are beloved by our residents. You'll be their kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews and get to know and love them. You'll work less hard than you ever would in a restaurant, but you'll get way more appreciation from people who are genuinely thankful for you.
