The Labor District Café is looking for a friendly & hard-working member to join our team!

+ No nights or weekends!

+ Starting pay at $18/hr PLUS Tips (additional $2-$10+ more per hour, employees all share in pooled tips for in-store & catering, catering manager receives bulk of catering tips)

+ 30-40 hour work week

+ Consistent schedule Monday through Friday 7:00am – 3:00pm (approx.)

Prepares, presents and delivers catering orders as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

Event Planning and Coordination: Working with clients to plan and organize catering for events. This involves understanding the client's needs, preferences, budget, and the nature of the event to propose suitable menus and services.

Menu Development and Food Preparation Oversight: Developing menus that meet the client's expectations and comply with dietary restrictions, while also considering cost-effectiveness and logistical feasibility. This includes overseeing the food preparation process to ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Time Management: This involves scheduling own time to properly prepare food for events, managing process from beginning to end, and ensuring they provide excellent customer service.

Quality Control and Compliance: Ensuring that all aspects of the catering service meet or exceed safety and quality standards. This includes compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and managing risk.

Customer Service and Satisfaction: Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring that the service meets or exceeds client expectations. Handling client feedback and resolving any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.

+ Performs prep work for catering orders

+ Manages catering orders for the week and delivers locally within the office park or nearby businesses

+ Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.

+ Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.

+ Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.

+ Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to manager.

+ Assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.

+ Performs other duties as assigned.
