Survey CAD Technician

THIS OPPORTUNITY:As a CAD Specialist specializing in land surveying work at Egis U.S., you will play a crucial role in supporting our land surveyors and field crew teams to develop, modify, and optimize CAD drawings for various ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, Location Control Route Surveys, Topographic Surveys, R/W staking and various other road, bridge and water resources projects. Your attention to detail, technical proficiency, and knowledge of land surveying principles will be essential in contributing to the success of our projects.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:CAD Design: Process field collected data into CAD drawings related to various land surveying projects.Data Collection: Collaborate with project managers and land surveyors to gather and organize project data, specifications, and other requirements to ensure accurate CAD representation.Drafting Standards: Ensure that all CAD drawings adhere to company drafting standards, industry best practices, and relevant regulations.Quality Control: Review and perform quality checks on CAD drawings to identify and rectify errors or inconsistencies, maintaining high-quality standards.Software Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest CAD software and technologies to enhance productivity and efficiency.Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with land surveyors, and other specialists to ensure seamless integration of CAD drawings with project goals and objectives.Compliance: Ensure that all CAD work complies with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
