Sr Maintenance Technician

The Sr Maintenance Technician will be part of a team responsible for ensuring timely repair of equipment as well as develop preventative maintenance measures on all equipment.  Help to source spare parts within budget and keep readily in stock.Perform work consisting of, but not limited to, the maintenance, repair and adjustment of plant machinery and equipment and the installation, testing and repair of electrical circuits to build and manufacture equipment.Diagnose and correct machinery and equipment defectsChanges and maintains batteries on powered equipmentWork from drawings, sketches, prints and schematic diagramsMake detailed sketches for the manufacture of repair parts by othersUse cutting and welding equipmentInstall conduit, wire, motors, switchgear, switches, contactors, and control devicesMaintain quality standardsMaintain good housekeepingAdhere to plant regulations and safety rulesUtilize all necessary tools, manuals and equipment to efficiently perform the job
