Medical Payment Poster

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Medical Payment Poster for a client in Indianapolis, Indiana. In this role, you will be a vital part of the Medical Billing team, ensuring the accurate and timely posting of payments for services rendered. The successful candidate will utilize their skills to maintain the smooth operation of our customer accounts and resolve any inquiries. This position is in office 5 days/week. Responsibilities: Posting payments from commercial and Medicaid sources Processing and reconciling incoming Explanation of Benefits (EOB) whether received electronically or through manual keying Conducting recoups and offsets Ensuring internal scanning of EOBs for record-keeping purposes Utilizing payer online portals for necessary operations Communicating with payers to gather necessary additional information Operating a 10-key to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Using Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel, to maintain organization and attention to detail Reconciling Payments Utilizing skills in HealthCare Revenue Cycle and Medical Payment Posting.Requirements A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical Payment Poster role or similar Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Experience in EOB - Explanation of Benefits Familiarity with HealthCare Revenue Cycle Demonstrated knowledge and skills in Payments Reconciliation Proficiency in 10 Key Skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
