Job Summary: The Billing Specialist will be responsible for managing the billing process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in invoicing, and maintaining up-to-date records of financial transactions. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with other departments and clients.Key Responsibilities:
Generate and send out invoices to clients in a timely manner.
Review and verify billing data for accuracy and completeness.
Resolve billing discrepancies and issues by communicating with clients and internal departments.
Maintain and update customer billing records and account information.
Process payments and follow up on outstanding invoices.
Prepare and distribute billing reports and statements.
Assist with month-end closing activities and account reconciliations.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance billing processes.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
Proven experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a similar role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Experience with billing software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
