Description We are in search of a meticulous Administrative Assistant to join our non-profit organization based in Indianapolis, Indiana. In this role, your primary function will be to assist with the organization's communication efforts. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Assist in the creation of weekly worship bulletins, including the preparation of draft copies, updating service information, and finalizing the bulletin for internal printing and uploading to the website. Oversee the design and printing of sermon printed pieces and maintain the worship schedule. Develop and install posters for various events and sermon series. Design slides for Broadcast Ministry in coordination with the bulletin and liaise with team members for approval. Perform administrative duties as assigned, including graphic design projects. Provide coverage at the front desk on a bi-monthly basis. Coordinate the ordering and arrangement of flowers for the sanctuary and special events. Utilize tools such as Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office Suite, and email for efficient task completion and communication. Handle inbound and outbound calls, schedule appointments, and manage data entry tasks. Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word Experience in answering inbound calls and managing inbound-outbound calls Excellent customer service skills Proven ability in data entry Ability to handle email correspondence proficiently Experience in scheduling appointments Familiarity with Adobe InDesign (REQUIRED) Previous experience in an administrative assistant role within a Non-Profit organization is preferred Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask Excellent verbal and written communication skills Detail-oriented with high levels of accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative High level of discretion and judgement in handling confidential information.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
