Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist. This role will primarily be focused on invoice processing, using specific software such as Epicor for ERP and ImageNow for workflow. The industry focus is on Accounts Payable (AP), and proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. Responsibilities: Execute accurate and efficient invoice processing to ensure smooth operation of accounts payable activities. Utilize Epicor ERP software to manage and organize financial data. Implement ImageNow workflow program to streamline and enhance work processes. Conduct problem-solving tasks as required to address and resolve any issues that may arise in the course of work. Undertake any additional projects or tasks as requested, demonstrating adaptability and versatility. Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis. Ensure detail-oriented work approach to maintain high levels of accuracy in all tasks. Exhibit a focused attitude to deliver results and meet deadlines. Demonstrate a quick learning ability to adapt to new software and processes.Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures and management Experience with Epicor ERP system Proven ability in Invoice Processing Strong skills in Microsoft Excel Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines Knowledge of accounting principles and best practices Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred Prior experience in an accounting role is a plus.
