Role: Splunk Engineer Type: Contract-to-Hire Location: Remote/Telecommute/Work-from-Home Please reach out to Trevor Hix at if interested! Apex Systems, a national leader in IT staffing and solutions, is searching for a Splunk Engineer for a large healthcare client. This is a contract-to-hire role and will be fully remote for the foreseeable future. For this role, you will be working with a team composing of Data Scientists, Engineers, and Application Developers to build a new platform utilizing Splunk and Python. The purpose of this role is to replace an outdated ticketing system with a highly integrated analytics solution to streamline data flow, articulate the data, and create automated processes for various backend functions. This is done by dumping data logs into Splunk, matching algorithms, find patterns, and developing workflows with other applications to take specific actions such as automatically creating a ticket. This role will be a part of a greater team, but is seen as the Splunk expert, and therefore should feel confident in working independently, as well as teaching others. Requirements:- 2+ years of Splunk development
- 3+ years of Python development
- 5+ years in IT
- Understanding of SAFe and Agile frameworks
- Highly analytical thought process
- Splunk Certified
