The Infrastructure Svc Engineer Sr Advisor (DevOps Engineer) will perform analysis and research of systems. Reviews detailed business and technical requirements in order to recommend technical solutions. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Provides second level engineering design functions. Develops complex solutions from business requirements and architectural specifications. Creates presentations and seeks IT management's approval and acceptance of significant replacements or reconfigurations of major business systems serving a business unit or location. Consults with application leaders to verify applications/technology conform to architecture standards. Sets vendor strategy and direction; oversees adherence. Designs and engineers comprehensive technical solutions based on business requirements and defined technology standards; works with architecture to update technology direction and strategy. Researches relevant trends and activities in healthcare, business, competition and regulatory environments; recommends strategy adjustments. Serves as technical merger and acquisition lead as needed. Qualifications BA/BS degree; 8+ years experience in information systems and DevOps engineering; significant experience with multiple technical and business disciplines required; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Detailed knowledge of the enterprise architectural plans, information systems, and corporate business plans required; expert knowledge of and expertise in at lease one core infrastructure technology required, as is a demonstrated ability to utilize this knowledge in strategic decisions; capable of creating advanced technology designs utilizing business and technical requirements. Strong leadership and mentoring skills required; demonstrated ability to create and present ideas to senior management. An ideal candidate will have:- Strong Team lead experience
- Linux administration
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Hands on use of Bamboo, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, or equivalent tools
- Web Middleware systems like WebSphere, IHS, Undertow
- Understanding Integration landscape with various open source and proprietary tools
- API driven landscape and modern 3 tier applications
- Familiar supporting Java applications on both DevOps and Infrastructure perspective
- Strong scripting experience to support automation of ad-hoc tasks
- Familiarity with shell, python or any similar programming language that supports automation.
- Experience handling certificates and security implementation such as SSO, OAuth, OIDC, etc.
- Monitoring implementations of APM, custom implementations using Splunk or any similar tool
