America’s Cabinet Company of Indiana is a respected leader in custom cabinetry and architectural millwork serving residential and commercial clients. We are seeking a skilled Cabinet and Millwork Estimator to join our growing team. This role requires expertise in estimating along with strong proficiency in Adobe CAD and other drafting software to create accurate take-offs and proposals.
Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed estimates and bid proposals for cabinetry and millwork projects.
Read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Develop comprehensive material take-offs and labor calculations.
Experience using Adobe CAD, AutoCAD, and other design software.
Collaborate with project managers, designers, and production staff to ensure estimates align with project requirements and budgets.
Communicate with vendors and suppliers to gather pricing and product details.
Maintain organized records of all estimates, drawings, and supporting documentation.
Requirements:
Prior experience estimating cabinetry, millwork, or related construction projects.
Proficiency in Adobe CAD and other CAD programs (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.).
Strong understanding of materials, construction methods, and fabrication processes for cabinets and millwork.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
Excellent math, analytical, and organizational skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
