Salary: This position traditionally starts at an hourly rate of $16.24 an hour. Salary for this position may be commensurate with education and job experience. Location: This position is located in INDOT's Greenfield District. A Day in the Life:

Responsible for completing tasks assigned from assigned Manager

Maintains office filing system, inventory, and searches files for retrieval of information;

Enter data into Excel or Microsoft as needed;

Performs variety of related clerical tasks (e.g.; open /sort mail, compose/edit correspondence relativeto assigned work, maintain files, answer telephone inquiries);

Performs other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need for Success:

Valid high school diploma or GED; preferred one (1) year of related work experience.

Must have a valid driver's license.

Must be able to perform daily duties independently and/or with other people.

Must have knowledge about Excel, Microsoft, and Outlook.

Must be able to complete tasks in a timely manner.

Must be able to take orders on which tasks need to be completed.

Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate clearly.

Pay attention to details and have an organizational Skills and Time management.

Considerable knowledge of computer skills with Microsoft Office Software required specifically Excel tobe able to create and input information into Excel databases.

Basic knowledge of PeopleSoft software preferred.
