NineStar Connect - Network Server Administrator

Join NineStar Connect as a Network Server Administrator and help support the critical infrastructure that powers our communications, electric, water, and wastewater services across Central Indiana. In this role, you'll research, design, implement, and maintain the server and network systems that keep our operations secure, stable, and efficient.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain physical and virtual server infrastructure using Windows Server 2012–2022, RedHat Enterprise Linux 8–9, and Windows 10/11 systems.Manage enterprise backup, disaster recovery, and remote access systems to ensure business continuity.Monitor and support IAM systems, Group Policy, Entra ID, and Active Directory environments.Administer Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) log collection and analysis tools.Configure and support Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL databases, and NetApp storage arrays.Maintain and monitor VMware environments and ensure redundancy across sites.Perform routine security updates, system patching, and vulnerability remediation.Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors on system integration and support.Monitor and troubleshoot network infrastructure, switches, and firewalls.Document system configurations, procedures, and technical guidelines for internal use.
