Don Myers Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is looking for a Journeyman or Lead Plumber.
Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled plumber to join our team. The role is crucial in providing top-notch service and workmanship to our clients.
Located in a dynamic environment, you will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for excellence
Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures.
Follow building plans and blueprints.
Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies.
Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems.
Light construction, carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, and ceiling work as required.
Prepare bids, budgets, and cost estimates.
Ability to determine and clearly identify proper materials and material quantities for new and existing repair projects.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly
Document all service activities accurately for reporting purposes

Qualifications
3+ years of residential plumbing experience
Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade
Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices
Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper
Have a valid driver’s license
Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screen
Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted
Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
Education, Training, Licenses and/or Certifications:
State of Indiana Plumbing license preferred
State of Ohio Plumbing license preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
Additional Requirements:

Requires mechanical aptitude, mathematical and English language skills.

Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs.
