Information Security Intern Location: Fort Wayne, IN Level: Intern Division / Department: Information Security Reporting to position: Information Security Officer Summer 2025 - 90 day internshipAbout the Role:The Information Security Intern will work directly with the Information Security Team to complete both daily tasks and strategic initiatives. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on information technology experience and work closely with leaders in multiple divisions across the enterprise. Responsibilities include:
Incident triage and management using cutting edge prevention and detection technologies
Analyze network penetration results and formulate remediation plans
Patch and vulnerability management of workstations and servers
Assist with current security initiatives which will involve working with Applications Development, Infrastructure, Operations, and Support departments
Education and Experience:
Pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity
Enthusiastic and motivated, willing to accept a wide variety of challenges
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication skills both written and oral
Personable and positive attitude
Problem solving and analytical skills
Hard worker and team oriented
