Controls Engineer

Do you want to be a big fish in a small pond? Do you have a degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar) and experience with Controls?

Person will develop electrical and controls system design solutions. Resolve operational problems related to projects. Ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed. Interpret client requirements, identify and address design parameters and engineering problems and ensure solutions are implemented accurately and within budget. Provide technical support to customers.

Will create and finalize desginsCreate accurate BOM'sDevelop electrical design, schematics and drawings in AutoCADSupport manufacture, build and validation of systems which include pneumatics, servos, vfd's, relays, communication networks, touchscreens, push-buttons and robotic integration.Create customer documentation such as user manuals, programming diagrams, network diagrams and electrical drawings.Ability to architect programs for PLC, HMI, robot and vision that are simple to test, well documented and versatile.

Requirements:-U.S. Citizen-Bachelor's Degree-5 years experience-Proficient with MS Office, AB RSLogix 500, 5000, Siemens, AutoCAD Electrical-Robotic Programming - Fanuc RoboGuide, Fanuc Robots, ABB a plus-Vision Experience a plus-Microsoft Visual Studio a plus-Strong fundamental knowledge of control and electrical system design and its application in automated industrial designs i-Critical thinking-Proactive-Self starter-Ability to multi-task-Ability to prioritize-Travel as needed to projects

Position located north of Fort Wayne. No relocation assistance. Excellent work culture.
