Medical Billing Specialist

Description We are seeking a Medical Billing Specialist to join our operations in Floyds Knobs, Indiana. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer applications, maintaining comprehensive customer records, and addressing customer inquiries. The role also involves monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions. This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Manage accounts receivable operations to ensure accurate and timely management Utilize Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE), EHR SYSTEM, Epaces to process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently Oversee billing functions to maintain the financial health of the organization Supervise claim administration to ensure all claims are processed and paid in a timely manner Address appeals by collaborating with insurance companies and customers to resolve disputes Implement benefit functions to ensure customers receive the benefits they are entitled to Keep accurate customer credit records to ensure data integrity Address customer inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner Regularly monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.Requirements Proficiency in using Allscripts software for medical billing Experience with Cerner Technologies for efficient healthcare management Knowledge of Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) to ensure seamless data transfer Competency in using EHR SYSTEM for maintaining electronic health records Familiarity with Epaces for processing Medicaid claims Ability to handle Accounts Receivable (AR) to manage payments and revenue Experience in Appeals for addressing claim disputes and issues Understanding of Benefit Functions to accurately process patient benefits Proficiency in Billing Functions to ensure accurate and timely billing Experience in Claim Administration to manage and process insurance claims effectively Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
