VCA Advanced Veterinary Care Center is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician for our Neurology Department!At VCA Advanced Veterinary Care Center, we are dedicated to providing cutting-edge neurological care for pets. Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with the latest technology, and our team is composed of passionate professionals who are committed to excellence in veterinary medicine. We are currently seeking a dynamic and skilled Registered Veterinary Technician to join our Neurology department.Our Technicians are exposed to a diverse and stimulating caseload. Technical skills are sharpened, and new techniques are learned every day. As a Registered Veterinary Technician in our Neurology department, you will:

Assist in Advanced Diagnostic Procedures: Work alongside our board-certified neurologists to perform MRI, CT scans, electrodiagnostics, and other advanced diagnostic procedures.

Patient Care and Monitoring: Provide exceptional care to our neurological patients, including pre- and post-operative care, administering medications, and monitoring anesthesia.

Client Communication: Educate and support pet owners, providing them with detailed information about their pet's condition, treatment plans, and follow-up care.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate with a dedicated team of veterinary professionals to ensure the highest standard of care and contribute to a positive and efficient working environment.

Continuing Education: Stay at the forefront of veterinary neurology by participating in ongoing education and training opportunitie

Schedule: Full-Time position, with four 10-hour weekdays or three 12-hours weekdays.Upon complete training with the Surgery Service (commonly three months), associates can train to perform on-call surgery duties. They can be included in an on-call rotation for both Surgeons and Neurologists.
