Tyson Foods Maintenance Technician FULL-TIME $21.80/hr, plus $5000 new hire bonus 14660 US-41, Robards, KY 42452 Pay range from $21.80 to $28.70 depending on experience. 2nd shift is eligible for $1/hr shift premium. Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets Maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Learn Tyson software to make work orders and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Tasks\Duties General Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production. Must be willing to set up, adjust and break down production line machinery. Must be willing to learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system. Must have good verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate with other Team Members, producers, USDA personnel and drivers. Must be able to use math as needed to make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc. Must be willing to lift 70 lbs. periodically throughout the shift on a daily basis and be willing to work on your feet for a period of 12 hours. Must be willing to complete all required training for the job. Must be able to read invoices, packing slips, records of materials, etc. Must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork . Requirements 6 months industrial maintenance experience or equivalent education. Schedule - Shift start: 6:00AM or 3:30PM or 10:30PM - Shift length: 8 - 10 hours - Days: Monday - Friday, occasional Saturdays required Benefits - Health, dental, vision insurance available after 1 days - Paid time off - 401k Requirements - Must apply directly with Tyson - Minimum of 6 months of mechanical work experience documented in the work history section of the application or a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program.
