iSeries Architect for one of its clients in Evansville, IN or Baltimore, Maryland / RemoteJob Title: iSeries ArchitectJob Description:We are looking for an iSeries Cobol Developer for our client. The ideal candidate is expected to create, develop and code from technical specifications. The candidate is responsible to troubleshoot problems and provide testing and QA support. The candidate is expected to have a deep understanding of interactive screen development.Required Skills:- 8 plus years of programming and analysis
- iSeries development expertise with ILE COBOL, ILE CL, C & database DB2.
- Interactive/online programming
- Experience with SQL and MQ Series is a plus
- Knowledge of iSeries API's, Data queues, User queues, multithreading, Journaling and IBM iSeries file systems such as Library based system etc.
- Must be a highly skilled professional with strong analytical and communication skills
- Through understanding of Code Management
- Complete SDLC Project Knowledge
- Experience with GUI development using Rocket software or similar product
- Experience with ALDON
- Bachelor's degree or Associate Degree
- Must have good comm skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems or its equivalent with relevant experience
